Founded by Arushi Nishank, Himshrri Films was born out of a passion for filmmaking and a desire to carve a unique niche in the industry. Beyond feature films, Himshrri Films has successfully executed high-profile projects such as an ad campaign for the Patanjali Group, showcasing our versatility and commitment to excellence. Our Work

Himshrri Films' journey began with the internationally acclaimed film "Major Nirala," a silver-screen adaptation of her father, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal's novel. This film, released in 2018, was not only a tribute to her father, the former Education Minister of India, but also a testament to her storytelling prowess, earning widespread appreciation from both audiences and critics. Our upcoming web series on Hotstar, “Life Hill Gayi,” promises to be a compelling blend of storytelling and activism, reflecting our commitment to using creative endeavors to showcase the simplicity of the people of Uttarakhand. Shot in the beautiful landscapes of Uttarakhand, the show aims to illustrate how India meets Bharat. It also features some prominent faces from the industry. The most anticipated project for Himshrri Films, “Tarini,” a Hindi feature film, is currently in the writing stage under the guidance of Dr. Kumar Vishwas. This story is a joyous and adventurous ride of six courageous female naval officers who went on an expedition in a small Make-in-India boat and circumnavigated the globe in 254 days. It's a real-life inspired story where all six women officers, coming from different geographical and cultural backgrounds, came together for a bigger goal and had their own awakening journeys throughout the process. As a production house, Himshrri Films is also working on a web series for Amazon, along with other projects with top OTT platforms, soon to be revealed.
